City of Canterbury Bankstown with exciting innovation in asset management

The City of Canterbury Bankstown has more than seventy five (75) stormwater pollution control devices which allow the City to protect their local waterways.  The City is now applying a (we think) stormwater industry first to ensure the appropriate management of these devices.

Dr Andrew Thomas (Executive Officer at Cooks River Alliance, President of Stormwater NSW) said “Canterbury-Bankstown Council now has a public facing website that tracks and provides updates on their stormwater quality devices.  So, not only are they actually cleaning them, but they are also collecting data AND making it public through an interactive web page”.
