“Waves of Change” Brisbane

An incredible film screening night at Sandgate Town Hall in Brisbane for the Waves of Change Project community event.

The night featured films by Carly Wilson’s ‘Rubber Jellyfish’ and Sea Shepherd’s ‘Untrashing Djulpan’ and ‘Return to Djulpan’.

Ocean Protect’s Brad Dalrymple gave a powerful presentation about the importance of protecting our waterways, the role stormwater plays in transferring litter to the ocean and what initiatives can be put in place now to stop this.

Thanks to Q&A panel members Carly Wilson @rubberjellyfish, Brad Dalrymple (Ocean Protect), Paul Cusack (Brisbane City Council’s litter prevention team), Morgan Beazley (Brisbane Marine Debris Team Coordinator) and Grahame Lloyd the Waves of Change Project Leader.

The next Waves of Change Project film screening event is under the stars on 3rd December at Rotary Park, Cotton Tree on the Sunny Coast! Secure your tickets now via https://bit.ly/3HizkV3
