Check out some of these recent happy snaps of a couple Filterra biofiltration systems on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Both of these systems have been protecting downstream waterways for eighteen (18) months, and were sized at 0.3% of the upstream catchment – five (5) times smaller than if conventional biofiltration systems were proposed. The smaller size and shallower depth of the Filterra biofiltration systems at this site allowed better integration into the highly constrained site, whilst still achieving best practice stormwater management targets.
