🌊 We made waves together this year

As we wrap up another big year, we’re reflecting on the many ways we’ve worked together to keep our waterways healthy and thriving. Our work wouldn’t be possible without the partners and customers that have helped us create lasting, meaningful impact across communities. 

Together, we’ve delivered several significant milestones that have strengthened our mission, including: 

• Over 80,000 stormwater treatment assets now installed across Australia, which prevented more than 4.5 tonnes of pollution from entering our waterways this year. 
• An estimated total volume of 580 billion litres of stormwater — a capacity equivalent to 235 thousand Olympic swimming pools — treated by Ocean Protect assets this year.
• Nearly 3000 learners reached through our award-winning Stormwater Fundamentals webinar series, sharing practical stormwater and WSUD knowledge.
• Improving national awareness of stormwater through strategic partnerships, including the landmark naming rights agreement with the Cronulla Sharks.
• Driving industry-leading asset maintenance compliance outcomes with our multi-award winning WSUD Maintenance Compliance Framework.
