The PFAS National Environmental Management Plan (PFAS NEMP) is Australia’s national guide for managing Per- and Poly-Fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination in the environment, and a new version (version 3.1) of the PFAS NEMP has been released. This version incorporates the updated Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG) for PFAS as proposed by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) in June 2025.
One key change in v3.1 is the PFOS target for 99% protection of freshwater and marine environments, which has been changed from 0.00023µg/L (in PFAS NEMP 3.0) to 0.02µg/L.
If you would like to know how we can help you achieve compliance with PFAS targets, including via the use of our RadFlow PFAS Filter™ technology, please get in touch with us today.
