Event Details

This is the tenth session of the 2026 Stormwater Fundamental Series and will focus on key steps in the design of high flow bioretention systems (e.g. Filterra bioretention). High flow bioretention are similar to “conventional” bioretention but have been optimised for high volume/flow treatment and high pollutant removal, and are typically significantly (around 3 to 7 times) smaller than conventional bioretention allowing for easier integration.

This 60-minute session will provide an overview of their appropriate design, including the design of inlet and outlet structures, flow distribution, layout and integration.

The webinar will include a short presentation by Ocean Protect’s Nathan Raco and Jeremy Green, followed by Q&A with attendees. A certificate of CPD will be provided to all attendees.

The 2026 Stormwater Fundamentals Series is proudly brought to you by Ocean Protect. For any queries, please contact us.
